ABOUT TOMMY TRINDER

English stage, screen and radio comedian who is widely remembered for his catchphrase "You lucky people!" He was one of the United Kingdom's foremost entertainers during the Second World War.

He made his first stage appearance at the age of twelve in a talent competition at Collins Music Hall.

He worked for the Entertainments National Service Association. He starred in several Ealing Studios films including Sailors Three. He served as the chairman of the Fulham Football Club. Throughout his career as an actor, he earned over a dozen credits for his various appearances in different films and TV series'.

He married Violet Trinder in 1932.

He once parodied Bob Monkhouse .
