Tomo Šokota

ABOUT TOMO ŠOKOTA

Former professional soccer player who played the striker position for Dinamo Zagreb and Benfica. He was also a member of Croatia's national football team.

He played four seasons for Croatian First League side Dinamo Zagreb.

His career was famously overshadowed by frequent injuries, especially in second half of the 2000s. He made his debut with the Croatian national team in their second-leg Euro 2004. He was called up when Croatia qualified for the 2006 World Cup, but had to miss the tournament due to injury.

He was born in Zagreb.

Both he and Dominik Livakovic have played for Croatia's national team.
