ABOUT TONI MARKUS NIEMINEN
Olympic ski jumper representing Finland who won two gold and one bronze medals at the 1992 Winter Olympics. He won his first World Cup in 1991. His success won him Finnish Sports Personality of the Year in 1992.
He started his professional career in 1991.
He became the youngest at 16 years old to win a gold medal at the winter olympics. He achieved a world record in 1994 in being the first male ski jumper to land over 200m.
He is from Lahti, Finland. He married Heidi Laitila in 2015.
He and Bonnie Blair both won gold medals at the 1992 winter Olympics.
