ABOUT TONY CAUNTER
British actor, performer, entertainer, and artist who is known for his many roles in projects like the soap operas Queenie's Castle and EastEnders and for the series The Big Spender (1965), The Legend of Robin Hood (1975), and Beryl's Lot (1973).
He attended Worthing and Westcliff High Schools. He served in the RAF. He then attended LAMDA where he trained to become an actor. He managed to get some smaller roles in the early 1960s. His breakout performance was in The Big Spender (1965).
He appeared in the Doctor Who episodes The Crusade, Colony in Space, and Enlightenment. He has had numerous small roles in other TV series an films.
He was born Anthony Patrick Caunter. He was born and raised in Southampton, Hampshire, England. He has one brother named Roger. His mother died when he was just 11 years old. He married Francis Wallace, and they had four children together.
He had a minor role in Sidney Lumet 's The Hill (1965) starring Sean Connery .
