ABOUT TONY KAKKO
Singer-songwriter of the Finnish power metal band Sonata Arctica, the group that has released songs like "Fullmoon."
Joining Sonata Arctica when the group was still named Tricky Means, Kakko played keyboard for their largely unsuccessful hard rock demos.
With a broad vocal range, he sang tenor and baritone and, on the later Sonata Arctica releases, he began to scream.
He was born in Kemi, Finland.
He collaborated with Nightwish on several of their tracks and sang with frontwoman Tarja Turunen on the live stage version of "Beauty and the Beast."
