Journalist who found acclaim as the co-host of Today, she is best known for becoming the host of A Current Affair in 2006. She uses her Twitter to break news to her 60,000 followers.

She began her journalism career in 1981 when she joined National Nine News in Melbourne as a reporter.

She is an avid horse rider. In May 2015, she was involved in a horse riding accident and was airlifted to Westmead Hospital.

Her son's name is Chris Williams.

Jessica Rowe succeeded her at Today when she left at the end of 2005.
