Trae Elston

ABOUT TRAE ELSTON

American football safety who signed with the University of Mississippi Rebels in 2012. A four-year starter, he collected more than 250 tackles over his career and was an All-SEC first team member in 2015.

A two-time first team All-State player in high school, he was a four-star recruit and received scholarship offers from the likes of LSU and Oklahoma State.

He was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in September 2015 after Ole Miss' upset victory over Alabama. His freshman year, he was the first SEC player to be ejected from a game for targeting.

His uncle Ron Elston played Madden with Trae to help teach him football growing up. His mother is named Shellah.

He played with Chad Kelly during his time at Ole Miss.
