ABOUT TRE NIXON

Professional wide receiver that was taken by the New England Patriots during the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He was selected from the University of Central Florida . As a senior, he collected 19 receptions with 260 yards and two touchdowns.

He initially began his collegiate career at the University of Mississippi . After one season at Ole Miss, he then transferred to UCF.

He made his NFL debut playing against the Washington Commanders during week one of the 2021 preseason. He and the Patriots won the game 22-13. Upon joining the Patriots, he chose #87, which was previously worn by Rob Gronkowski .

Growing up, he lived with his family in Viera, Florida. He is the son of Jean Meranda and Anthony Nixon.

He played alongside Rhamondre Stevenson as a member of the Patriots during the 2022 NFL season.
