Trent Carl Wayne Oeltjen
ABOUT TRENT CARL WAYNE OELTJEN
Australian outfielder who rose to fame during his first stint with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2009. He signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers the following year and returned to the Diamondbacks in 2014. At the international level, he represented Australia in the 2004 Summer Olympics.
He graduated from Gilroy College in 2000.
He made his first major league hit against Kevin Hart of the Pittsburgh Pirates . He won a silver medal with the Australia national baseball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
He married Alyssa Sobolik Oeltjen in 2011. He has a son named Chase.
He and Ryan Rowland-Smith founded the NxtGen Baseball training camp.
