ABOUT TREY CALLAWAY

American screenwriter, filmmaker, and producer who wrote the screenplay for the 1998 slasher film I Still Know What You Did Last Summer . His television writing credits include 9-1-1: Lone Star , Revolution , and CSI: NY . He has shared his filmmaking knowledge as a professor at the University of Southern California 's School of Cinematic Arts.

He attended Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma. Prior to getting involved in filmmaking and screenwriting, Callaway was once an on-air radio personality at KRMG (AM) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was heavily involved in the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike. Many of his posts on his treycallaway Instagram account are about the strike.

He featured his father and grandmother in a photo posted to his Instagram account on December 29, 2023.

He is friends with screenwriter and director Duane Clark .
