ABOUT TRISHA CHETTY

Former wicket-keeper who has played for cricket clubs such as KwaZulu-Natal and the Gauteng Central Lions. She also played for the South African women's national team.

She signed her first professional club contract with KwaZulu-Natal in 2003. She was just 15 years old at the time.

She held the record for the highest ever opening stand of 170 runs at one point. She announced her retirement on March 17, 2023.

She was born and raised in Durban, South Africa.

She is a professional cricketer just like Ellyse Perry .
