ABOUT TROY APKE
NFL cornerback that was originally selected as a fourth round pick in the 2018 Draft by the Washington Commanders . Prior to being drafted, he played college football at Penn State University where he was named the 2018 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl MVP.
He was a three-sport athlete while at Mt. Lebanon High School. As a senior, he won a WPIAL 100-meter track title.
He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Arizona Cardinals during week one of the 2018 regular season. He recorded one tackle in a 24-6 Commanders victory.
He was born to parents Steve and Susan Apke in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is one of four siblings.
