American wrestler who competed on Extreme Championship Wrestling in 2008 and 2009 before returning to the independent wrestling circuit. He was resigned by WWE as part of their NXT program in 2013. His ring names include Shawn Spears, Gavin Spears and Tye Dillinger.

He played hockey for a decade before deciding to pursue professional wrestling. He trained under Eric Young at the WrestlePlex school.

He wrestled under the ring name Shawn Spears before signing with NXT.

His birth name is Ronnie William Arneill. He was born in St. Catharines, Ontario. He has shared photos of his niece and nephew to Instagram. He is married to wrestler Peyton Royce . In 2023, they welcomed their first child, Austin Jay Spears.

He won an Ohio Valley Wrestling Southern Tag Team Championship with Colt Cabana .
