He began to train as a competitive diver at the age of 5. He moved to Indianapolis in 2016 to pursue his diving career.

In 2018, he was a silver medalist at the World Junior Diving Championships. In 2019, he won multiple gold medals at the Junior Pan Americans Games in Santiago, Chile.

He is the youngest of seven siblings.
