ABOUT TYLER FREEMAN

Professional infielder that was drafted by the Cleveland Indians during the second round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He was drafted out of Etiwanda High School in Etiwanda, California.

He began his professional career playing for the AZL Indians rookie affiliate team. He was eventually promoted to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

He made his major league debut playing against the Arizona Diamondbacks on August 3, 2022. He recorded his first MLB hit that day during the bottom of the sixth inning. At one point, he was committed to play at Texas Christian University , but elected to sign with the Indians instead.

He is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, California. His brother, Cody, is also a professional baseball player.

Growing up, his favorite baseball players were Michael Young and Derek Jeter .
