ABOUT TYLER SHAW
Pop performer who was the winner of the 2012 MuchMusic Covers Contest. His singles "Kiss Goodnight" and "With You" both went Platinum in Canada. In 2014, he earned a JUNO Award nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.
He started playing guitar at age thirteen before going on to study sociology at the University of Prince Edward Island when he was nineteen.
His debut album Yesterday was released in 2015. He has opened for massive international artists including Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara .
He grew up with his family in Coquitlam, British Columbia. He had a daughter named Everly with his wife Alex Karolczyk. In June 2023, they announced they were expecting baby number two together. They welcomed another daughter in October 2023.
He performed Adele's song "Rolling in the Deep" at the 2012 MuchMusic Covers Contest.
