ABOUT TYLER WELLS

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the 15th round of the 2016 MLB Draft. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in May 2019 and missing the entire 2020 season, he was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles during the Rule 5 Draft on December 10, 2020.

He attended the University of California, San Bernardino where he played until being drafted during his junior year.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Boston Red Sox on April 4, 2021.

Wells is married to his wife, Melissa. They have a son.

He played alongside Maikel Franco as a member of the Orioles during the 2021 MLB season.
