ABOUT ULI HOENEß
Former president and manager of German football club Bayern Munich and former footballer for West Germany who played as a forward for club and country. He was known for representing Germany at one World Cup and two European Championships, winning one tournament in each competition.
From 1970 to 1979, he was a player for Bayern Munich. Then in 1979, at age 17, he became the club's general manager.
He was presented with the Bavarian Sports Award in 2006, the Bambi in 2009 and the Civil Courage award by the "Alliance for Kids" charity in 2010.
In 1973, he married Susanne Hoeneß. They have two children, Florian Hoeneß and Sabine Hoeneß.
He has played alongside Ottmar Hitzfeld for Bayern Munich.
