ABOUT ULRIKA WIDSTROM
Swedish translator and poet who is best known for a 1799 work entitled Erotiska sanger (Erotic Songs).
She was the child of a Stockholm organ-maker and grew up speaking both German and French.
She founded a school for girls in the Swedish city of Mariestad.
She was married to violinist Sven Widstrom.
She and Bo Bergman were both Swedish poets.
