Religious leader and public speaker who is best known for having acted as the Head of the Al Barakah Education Center. He was also a regular panelist on international television and talk show programs.

He studied at the Maahad Tahfiz Al Quran & Qiraat of the Perak State Mosque.

In 2015, he was given the title Commander-in-Chief of the Region.

He was born to Nazirah bint Ismail Ismail and  Elias bin Che Mat.

Both he and fellow public figure Mahathir Mohamad were born in Malaysia.
