ABOUT VALENTE BELLOZO

Major league starter and relief pitcher that was first signed by the Houston Astros as an international free agent in 2017. Just a few years later, he was named one of the Astros' top 100 MLB prospects. In April 2024, he was acquired by the Miami Marlins via trade.

He initially began his minor league baseball career with the DSL Astros rookie affiliate team. After 14 games, he was the promoted to the Tri-City ValleyCats.

Besides playing baseball, he is also a huge movie buff. In particular, he loves the Harry Potter film franchise.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Mexicali, Mexico.

He played alongside Sandy Alcantara as a member of the Miami Marlins during the 2024 MLB regular season.
