ABOUT VALENTINE HOLMES

Veteran winger, full-back, soccer player, athlete, and center that first began his professional rugby career with the Cronulla Sharks in the year 2014. He later signed a multi-year deal with the North Qld Cowboys in November 2019. He is also a member of the Australian men's national team.

Prior to his professional career, he played junior rugby for the Western Lions of the Queensland Rugby League Northern Division. As a teenager, he then began playing for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

After a phenomenal performance during the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, he helped Team Australia win the Rugby League World Cup while also being named to the Rugby League World Cup's all-tournament team. A few years later, he helped Team Australia win the 2021 Rugby League World Cup.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Townsville, Australia. He is the youngest of five siblings.
