ABOUT VALERIAN ABAKOVSKY
Latvian inventor best known for creating the Aerowagon, a high-speed railcar fitted with an aircraft engine.
He worked as a chauffeur for the Tambov Cheka prior to realizing his entrepreneurial ambitions.
He was killed when the Aerowagon he was in derailed and crashed.
He died unmarried.
He and Lloyd Groff were both successful inventors.
