Singer who became one of the biggest names in Afghani music with hit singles like "Bia Tu" and "Delamo Shekoondi." In 2008, he was named Best Artist of the Year at the Noor TV Awards.
He grew up in Heidelberg, Germany and was the musical pupil of famed Afghan musician Nasrat Parsa.
In 2008, he created the Valy Foundation to assist needy children in Afghanistan.
Both of his parents were artists and musicians.
He and Aryana Sayeed are both popular Afghani singers.
