ABOUT VARUN GROVER
Indian screenwriter, stand up comedian and actor who gained popularity with his film Masaan in 2015. Other films he has worked on include Qala, Monica, O My Darling and Samrat Prithviraj.
He graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in 2003.
He won the award for "Best Lyricist" at the 63rd National Film Awards in 2015. Throughout the course of his career as an actor, he has appeared in over twenty films. His acting credits also include a handful of different roles in television as well.
His mother was a school teacher and his father was an army engineer.
He worked alongside Swastika Mukherjee and Samir Kochhar on the movie Qala.
