ABOUT VERA NAZARIAN
Armenian-Russian author of fantasy and science fiction books including the novels Dreams of the Compass Rose and The One Thousand and One Nights.
She started writing and publishing short stories in the mid 1980s including the story Wound on the Moon.
She has been an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
She grew up in a Russian and Armenian family.
His book collection called Salt of the Air included an introduction by fellow author Gene Wolfe .
