ABOUT VICTOR MCGUIRE
Actor and singer best known for portraying the role of Jack Boswell on nearly every season of the series Bread. He was also one of only 3 actors to appear in every episode of the award-winning series Goodnight Sweetheart, in his role as Ron Wheatcroft. Some of his film credits include Andy in My Week with Marilyn , Piangi in The Phantom of the Opera , and Gary in Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels.
After completing his secondary education, he was unsure about his career plans and enrolled in the Everyman Youth Theatre, where he discovered his aptitude for performing. He then went on to attend the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he was classically trained. By his senior year, he had already earned his career-making role as Jack Boswell on Bread.
He provided the voice for the character of Charlie Tate in the 2015 video game Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. He also sang on the soundtracks for The Phantom of the Opera and the series A Many Splintered Thing.
His sister is a dancer. He also has a brother.
He played Ian on the comedy series Trollied, on which the American series Superstore is based, opposite Jason Watkins , Chanel Cresswell , and Jane Horrocks .
