ABOUT VICTOR SLOAN

Award-winning photographer and multimedia artist known for his manipulation of negatives and photo prints. "Drumming," "The Walk, the Platform and the Field," and "The Birches," were all part of his Orange Order series.

He studied art at the Royal School in Northern Ireland and at the Belfast and Leeds College of Art.

His socio-politically driven works included a photo series that probed Belfast's Orange Order.

He was raised in Dungannon, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

He and author Seamus Heaney were both born in Northern Ireland.
