ABOUT VIDYUT JAMWAL

Indian screen actor known for his action hero roles in such Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films as Shakti, Thuppakki, and Commando. Also a martial artist, he became an accomplished practitioner of Kalaripayattu.

He appeared in his first Indian film, Force, in 2011.

A model and a vegetarian, he posed for a print advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

He was born in the Urdu-speaking city of Jammu, India. Toward the beginning of his acting career, he became romantically involved with television actress Mona Singh .

He appeared with fellow Indian actor John Abraham in a 2011 remake of the popular Tamil thriller Kaakha Kaakha.
