British actor who has appeared in various films and television series, including the film Clash of the Titans in 2010 and the series Scott & Bailey in 2011. He played Ser Rickard Thorne in House of the Dragon .
He went to the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in London.
He received a nomination for Irish Best Actor in 1999 for his work in the miniseries Eureka Street. In 2024, he played John Harris in Shetland.
He has two children.
He appeared in the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman directed by Rupert Sanders .
