French Caribbean actor who launched his acting career in the early 2010s with roles in various French films and television series. He began gaining international recognition with appearances in the psychological crime thriller series Luther and the drama series Ransom. More recently, he portrayed Jean-Xavier in the 2022 HBO Max miniseries The Staircase .
He studied International Business at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes and worked as a luxury real estate advisor before turning to a career in acting. He was inspired to get into show business by actors like Denzel Washington and Wesley Snipes .
He speaks French, English, and Spanish. He has described himself as an amateur whiskey and rum connoisseur.
He is originally from the French Caribbean island of Martinique.
