ABOUT VINESSA LYNN ANTOINE
Canadian actress known for her roles on shows like Being Erica, General Hospital , and Ginny & Georgia . She is the first Black Canadian woman to headline a Canadian drama series, specifically as Marcie Diggs on the CBC network show Diggstown.
She is of Trinidadian and Middle Eastern descent. Growing up in Toronto, she danced ballet and studied at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.
She was nominated twice, in 2021 and 2022, for Best Actress in a Drama Series at the Canadian screen awards.
She grew up with her parents and younger brother. She married Matt Levy in 2014 and they have two sons.
For six months she was on tour with rapper Diddy .
