ABOUT VIVEK RAMASWAMY

American entrepreneur in the healthcare and technology sectors, a political commentator, and a New York Times bestselling author. He has 1.6 million followers on Instagram and 800,000 subscribers on YouTube.

He graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati in 2003. In high school, he was class valedictorian, a nationally ranked junior tennis player, and an accomplished pianist. In 2007, he graduated from Harvard University summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with an A.B. in biology.

His senior thesis for Harvard was awarded the Bowdoin Prize for Natural Sciences, and a precise version of it was published by The New York Times and The Boston Globe in 200.  He ran for President and competed in the Republican primary in 2023.  He worked alongside Jake Paul to help promote his presidential run.  After suspending his campaign he endorsed Donald Trump for President in January of 2024.

He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents immigrated from Kerala, India. His father graduated from a regional engineering college in Kerala and later worked at General Electric. His mother graduated from Mysore Medical College and became a geriatric psychiatrist. He is married to Apoorva Tewari Ramaswamy, an assistant professor at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

His most recent book, Nation of Victims: Identity Politics, the Death of Merit, and the Path Back to Excellence, has gotten him lots of time on Fox News and praise among media folks like Ben Shapiro , Michele Tafoya , and Kayleigh McEnany .  He joined the All-In Podcast in the summer of 2023 for an episode.
