ABOUT VOLKAN KONAK
Turkish folk singer who first tasted fame after the release of his album Suların Horon Yeri in 1989. The single "Cerrahpaşa" elevated his success and he went on to reach the 1 million album sales mark in 2013.
He graduated from the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music Conservatory.
In 2006, he was given a gold plaque by the Turkish recording producers association group MÜ-YAP.
He was born and raised in Turkey.
He became a prominent vocalist with Turkish roots like Teoman and Berna Arici .
