ABOUT WADE BOWEN

Singer known as a member of the band West 84, which later became known as Wade Bowen and West 84. In 1999, he released his first album titled Just for fun. His other albums include Try Not to Listen, The Blue Light Live and Lost Hotel. He toured with his brother-in-law Cross Canadian Ragweed front man Cody Canada .

He graduated from Texas Tech University . He earned a degree in public relations and minored in marketing. He was a member of the Epsilon Nu chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity.

He has collaborated with Pat Green , Ray Wylie Hubbard , Radney Foster and Randy Rogers. He founded the Wade Bowen Family Foundation. The foundation has donated to organizations like the March of Dimes Waco and Boys & Girls Clubs of Waco.

He married Shelby Bowen. They have sons named Bruce and Brock. His single "Before These Walls Were Blue" was written about his sons. His parents are named Glenda Waller Bowen and James "Jim" Bowen.

His childhood was spent listening to country music by artists such as Patsy Cline , Willie Nelson and Guy Clark .
