ABOUT WAHEED MURAD
Award-winning Pakistani actor who was the recipient of the Sitara-e-Imtiaz honor. Referred to as the Chocolate Hero, he appeared in Aulad, Armaan, and Devar bhabi.
He joined his father's group Film Art and produced Insaan badalta hai in 1961.
His most popular movie was Armaan, which became a huge critical and commercial success.
He and his wife Salma married in 1964 and raised two children together. They lost one daughter in infancy.
He has been compared to Dilip Kumar .
