Defender who was selected seventh overall in the 2013 MLS draft, debuting later that year for FC Dallas, the team that drafted him.

He played soccer at Furman University.

From 2010-2011, he played for the United States under-18 team.

He was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

He and midfielder Kellyn Acosta both joined FC Dallas in 2013.
