ABOUT WAYNE LYONS
Cornerback who began his career with the Stanford Cardinal in 2011. He was named to the Phil Steele Preseason All-Pac-12 Third Team as a senior in 2014.
He attended Dillard High School, where he was class valedictorian and member of the National Honor Society.
He is the recipient of the U.S. Army’s Felix “Doc” Blanchard Award.
His cousin, Frank Sanders, was an NFL player for the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens.
He and NFL star Richard Sherman both played cornerback at Stanford University
