ABOUT WAYNE TERWILLIGER

Terwilliger was a second baseman, coach, and manager in the MLB who played for the Cubs, Brooklyn Dodgers, Washington Senators, New York Giants, and Kansas City Athletics.

He was involved in the invasions of Tinian and Iwo Jima during World War II.

He managed twelve minor league baseball teams.

He married Lin Terwilliger in 1950.

Ted Williams hired Terwilliger as a third-base coach while he was managing the Washington Senators.
