Wayne Tinkle

ABOUT WAYNE TINKLE

Former men's center that played basketball professionally for 12 years in countries such as Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Greece, and the United States. In the year 1993, he was named a CBA All-Star while playing for the Rapid City Thrillers.

He is a graduate of Joel E. Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington. He then enrolled in the University of Montana as a freshman in the year 1985.

While coaching at Montana, he was named the 2012 Big Sky Coach of the Year. He then received the same award the very next year. Shortly after retiring in the year 2001, he then began his professional coaching career at the University of Montana. He then joined Oregon State University in the year 2014.

He lives with his wife Lisa and their two daughters. His wife also played basketball while in college.

He coached Cade Cunningham while at Oregon State.
