TV actress who starred on the TV show Frasier, and later starred on the TV sitcom Hot in Cleveland . She provided the voice of Chicha in the 2000 animated film The Emperor's New Groove. She has been nominated for two Emmy Awards throughout her career.

She missed out on a role to play Diane Chambers on the TV show Cheers, a role that was played by Shelley Long .

She appeared on several popular TV shows, including Baywatch and Seinfeld. She has amassed more than 180 different acting roles throughout her long on-screen career.

She divorced actor Mitch Glazer in 1989, and later remarried Richard Erickson. The couple became known for being very fond of animals.
