West Indies Cricket Hall of Famer who played international cricket for West Indies and domestic cricket for teams like Barbados. He later became a politician, serving in the Senate and House of Assembly in Barbados.
He was a wicketkeeper at the prestigious Combermere School and first took up fast-bowling with the Cable Office cricket team.
He was one of the most popular cricketers of his time, thanks in part to his unusual size for a cricketer, standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall.
His father was a Light-Heavyweight boxer.
He dismissed Indian batsman Pankaj Roy in his Test debut.
