ABOUT WESLEY CARROLL
Former American football quarterback who played college football at Florida International University his junior and senior seasons, after transferring from Mississippi State University in January 2009.
He attended Cooperstown Central School in Cooperstown, New York from grades 3 to 8. He and his family then moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the summer of 2003, where he then attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School that fall.
At Mississippi State he threw 137 consecutive passes without an interception, falling one pass attempt shy of the NCAA record for a freshman.
His father was a newspaper writer in Arizona, and used to proofread Carroll's papers and those of his two brothers. One of his brothers went to West Point.
Since 2013, he has run Quarterback Prep, a quarterback coaching company. One of his teammates at FIU was future Indianapolis Colts star T.Y. Hilton .
