Willard Hughes Rollings
ABOUT WILLARD HUGHES ROLLINGS
An author specializing in Native American history, he is known for works such as The Osage: An Ethnohistorical Study of Hegemony on the Prairie-Plains (1992) and The Comanche: The Indians of North America Series (1989).
He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in history from New Mexico State University. He later earned his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University.
He began teaching at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 1989.
He was the child of Ira and Georgia Luella Rollings, and he grew up in New Mexico's Rio Grande Valley. He married Barbara Williams-Rollings.
William H. Prescott also worked as a historian.
