ABOUT WILLIAM ANDREWS

Running back who played in the NFL from 1979 to 1983 and again in 1986, exclusively for the Atlanta Falcons.

He played college football at Auburn University, before being selected in the 4th round of the 1979 NFL Draft.

He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection, but his career was cut short due to knee injuries.

He was born in Thomasville, Georgia.

His #31 has been retired by the Falcons, alongside the names of greats such as Steve Bartkowski .
