ABOUT WILLIAM GAUNT
British actor who portrayed secret agent Richard Barrett in the British series The Champions. He also starred as Arthur Crabtree from 1983 to 1987 in No Place Like Home.
After working three years in repertory theater and a stint in the Army, he landed minor roles on shows including The Avengers and Z-Cars.
He had a recurring role in the series Sergeant Cork.
In 1974, he married actress Carolyn Lyster and together they had a son named Albie and daughter Matilda.
He made a guest appearance on the police procedural series Juliet Bravo, starring Anna Carteret .
