ABOUT WILLIAM JAMES JONES
Best known for his role as Tony Wicks in the 1990s NBC Saturday-morning sitcom California Dreams. He has been an associate professor and the assistant director of clinical training at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Before California Dreams became a hit, James had small roles in A Dangerous Place with Corey Feldman , and Executive Decision starring Kurt Russell and Halle Berry .
He wrote his dissertation on the self-actualization of African-American men analyzed the lives and careers of Frederick Douglass , WEB DuBois , and Booker T. Washington . He received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Biola University, a master's degree from Pepperdine University, and completed his PhD from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
He was born in Chicago to Alonzo Jones Jr. and Lori Ann Jones. He has a brother and a sister.
