ABOUT WILLIAM LANDAY
American novelist, writer, attorney, and former lawyer who is best known for being the author of several well-known and popular books including "All That Is Mine I Carry With Me," "Defending Jacob," "The Strangler," and "Mission Flats."
He attended the Roxbury Latin School. He graduated from Yale University and Boston College Law School. He worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, Massachusetts for seven years.
His novel "The Strangler" was listed as best crime novel of the year by the L.A. Times and Daily Telegraph. His novel "Defending Jacob" is a New York Times bestseller and was awarded the Strand Magazine Critics Award for best mystery novel in the year 2012.
He and his wife have two sons together.
In the year 2023, novelist Scott Turow reviewed his book "All That Is Mine I Carry," and said "Masterful... the best book I've read in quite a while."
