ABOUT WILLIAM LEGATE

Entrepreneur and computer programmer who is known for having been the co-founder and CEO of the app Ponder. He is also known for having been given a Thiel Fellowship to pursue his tech entrepreneurial path.

He attended the Walker School in Georgia and taught himself computer programming from online Stanford courses. He was featured in the New York Times for his apps in high school which eventually awarded him the Thiel Fellowship at the age of 18.

He was listed as one of the most powerful 20-year-olds in tech by Business Insider in 2014.

He was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. His father was a real estate entrepreneur.

The founder of Tinder Justin Mateen invested in his app Ponder.
