William Macdonald

ABOUT WILLIAM MACDONALD

Prolific writer of Christian-themed books. He also served as President of Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa.

He graduated from Tufts College in 1938 and from Harvard University in 1940. He later served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a Boston-based financial analyst.

He was associated with an Evangelical Christian movement known as the Plymouth Brethren.

He was born in Massachusetts, but he spent a portion of his childhood in Scotland. While living in Scotland, he contracted diptheria, but was reportedly saved from death after God told his uncle that he would live.

He and Joyce Meyer both had careers as Christian authors.
